Hutt Physiotherapy was established in 1994 in the central business district of Lower Hutt. It is an ACC accredited practice owned and operated by Gill Stotter.
We are an independent community practice that has built relationships across the age span from children, teenagers, to older adults over many years. We are an experienced team of physiotherapists who work together and with you to achieve your health, activity and wellbeing goals.
We provide a positive patient experience by listening, understanding, assessing, and diagnosing your condition. Whether you have an injury or illness, are pre- or post-operative, or are aiming to reduce the risk of injury or enhance athletic performance, we are here to help.
We specialise in musculoskeletal and sports injuries as well as conditions which affect your health, wellbeing and function. We work closely with other health professionals to provide pain management, concussion and rehabilitation services. We have an onsite rehabilitation gym for individual and group sessions. In addition, we have a massage therapist who works from the practice.
As registered physiotherapists, you can come to us direct without referral from your GP or other medical specialist. We can complete ACC documentation as needed, and refer for ultrasound scans and x-rays, or to specialists where appropriate.
